Today's image was captured in Arches National Park early one January morning. This is the Colorado River valley as seen through Mesa Arch atop the Island in the Sky. Image was shot using a Nikon D100 & Sigma 15-30 in the 15MM position, 1/320th @ F/9.

This particular arch is a very dynamic location that can be used to produce a variety of images in both the morning and afternoon. The weaker January sun provides a longer amount of shooting time with ideal light.
