| January 05, 2005 | | Photo: Aspens Changing Color, A Fall Snow Storm in East Vail |
One of the best lessons i've learned is that changes in weather bring about the most dramatic photo opportunities. Fresh snow, a recent rain, a dust storm, a rainy day to produce a rainbow. This image caught me off guard one day. I was driving the interstate over Vail Pass and saw that there had been a recent snow, and that some of the Aspens still had their leaves. I stopped and took a dozen road-side shots. This was my favorite! The image was captured in East Vail, along Interstate-70. It was captured to JPG on a Nikon D100 with a Sigma 70-300 lens without a tripod. As with all images appearing on this site, they are the property of Loren French, and they are protected by copyright.
