The easiest places to visit are always those places located along the route between something and something. The harder locations to visit are those locations located between something and nothing. The hardest and sometimes most rewarding locations are located between nothing and nothing. That's sort of the case with Hovenweep. Definately worth the visit, but the location is so obscure that few people will ever visit this remote location on the sothern border of Colorado and Utah, just north of four-corners. Shot on a Nikon D100, 70-300mm Sigma at 300MM, 1/1000th, F/6, 200ISO to RAW. As with all images appearing on this site, they are the property of Loren French, and they are protected by copyright.
